Day by Day
A starting point, not a fixed departure — every stay, every pace, every detail can be adjusted to suit you.
Day 1
Private transfer from Léon-Mba International Airport into Libreville, with the afternoon free to explore the city's markets and waterfront before an early night ahead of tomorrow's flight south.
Days 2–5
Fly to Gabon's flagship park, where rainforest meets the Atlantic without a single kilometre of road between them. Track forest elephants and buffalo along the beach, watch for Loango's famous surfing hippos in the shorebreak, and take a boat safari on the Iguela Lagoon in search of hippo and Nile crocodile.
Days 6–8
Continue inland to Lopé, a UNESCO World Heritage Site of ancient rainforest and savanna. Trek with expert trackers in search of habituated mandrill troops — some of the largest primate gatherings on Earth — and take a boat safari along the Ogooué River.
Days 9–11
Fly back to Libreville with two days at leisure — a boat trip to the beaches of Pointe Denis, or simply time to reflect on one of the least-travelled corners of the continent — before a private transfer to the airport on day 11.
